Gaynor joined GSB solicitors in January 2016 to lead the employment law and general litigation department.
Gaynor was admitted as a solicitor in September 2002, and specialises in both contentious and non-contentious, claimant & respondent employment law work, as well as having solid experience in general litigation work. Gaynor has worked in the employment team for West Yorkshires’ largest employer, Leeds City Council, and was engaged as an employment solicitor by the UK’s largest teaching union, the NUT. In 2012 she set up ‘The Employees Lawyer Limited’ offering affordable legal advice to employees and start up SME businesses in West Yorkshire before joining forces with GSB earlier this year.
Gaynor is a sensible, no nonsense, straight talking solicitor who has a fantastic ability and willingness to go all out and fight her clients corner. Clients’ who instruct Gaynor often say, “she is a safe pair hands and they are comforted by her advice and guidance”
On a more personal note, Gaynor is a keen triathlete she regularly competes with the Leeds/Bradford Triathlon Club in Olympic distance triathlons (1 mile swim, 26 mile cycle and to finish a 6 mile run). Her goal this year is to complete a middle distance triathlon (2 mile swim, 52 mile cycle and to finish a 13.1 mile run). Gaynor has a very demanding rescue Weimaraner dog, called Elvis who she tells us costs her the equivalent of a monthly mortgage payment in daily dog walking fees but whom she absolutely adores!
